The Senior Mechanical Engineer will take technical lead on specific projects as identified by the Hardware Engineering manager. Additionally will assist the Hardware Engineering Manager in coaching other Mechanical Engineers to develop Design skills and work to the departmental processes. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the localization of designs from the USA. Experience in selecting materials is a mast.

Regular Duties:
Project management (team size: 2+ engineers/designers). ?
Involved with schedule during program
Generate schedules against customer milestones and company requirements
Maintain schedules thru interaction with ACCEL teams. ?
Work as single point of contact for multiple hardware projects. ?
Maintain ongoing project requirements and specifications for multiple projects. ?
Review design efforts from team to ensure that quality is being maintained.
Manage and scope investigations into form or function of a feature or set of features in a design.
Creation and refinement of technical mechanical part and assembly drawings to capture design requirements and document the key aspects necessary to accomplish the manufacturing goals of a project.
Creation and refinement of complex mechanical designs
Management of electrical parts as typically used in the mechanical design models.
Creation of communication documentation to help convey the key aspects of a design to a client or manufacturing partner.
Creation, control, and maintenance of release packages and design history files.
Data management and release process activities.
Determine root cause analysis and testing activities.
Exercise independent judgment
Localization of products.
Lead Cost Reduction initiatives to achieve cost targets
Executive management.
Help with resource loading.
From both project and employee viewpoints. ?
Project resource adjustment to meet deliverables. ?
Employee workload adjustments to help level load.
Develop engineers skill set. ?
Ongoing design reviews/brainstorming sessions with engineers/designers working on projects under your control. ?
Work with other engineers to help increase their knowledge/skills.
Develop analytical processes.
Share experience.
Review others concepts/designs.
Help locate and interview new talent as needed.
Job Skills and Attributes:

Bilingual Ability, proficient working skill in English and Mandarin
Capable of selecting the right components or materials after analyzing or generating the design requirements.
Ability to read and analyze aircraft schematics
Can do complex designs with little to no supervision
Ability to identify root cause of mechanical problems and troubleshoot.
Experience with electro-mechanical device such as switches, relays, servos and solenoid.
Experience using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point)
Experience using Engineering design tool (AutoCAD preferred)
Expertise using SolidWorks
Knowledge in industry standards and regulatory is a plus.
Demonstrates broad technical knowledge/expertise in multiple flight simulation products and technologies is a plus.
Be able to work in cross functional teams (electrical, mechanical, software)
Can estimate the effort required to complete complex designs and finish their tasks on time with little supervision.
Knowledge of materials, fabrication methods, and structural concepts
Be able to design assemblies against production cost targets established early in the program
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good leadership skill and project management ability
Able to deliver performance under fast pace and pressure.
Basic Qualification:

At least 5 years of mechanical design experience, with relevant working experience in flight simulation industry prefered
7 years years of experience if candidate has no master degree
Multinational company background prefered
Over 2 years experience as a leader position or senior engineer position
