MISSIONS:As Safety & Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) you are working in a multi-disciplinary project team within our product development department and will work closely together with the respective project managers and their teams. Your responsibilities will include:oEnsure that the safety and reliability attributes of our products are understood and that the risks arising from them are managed to an acceptable level. oSupport our engineering products throughout their entire life cycle to ensure our products meet company, customer and regulatory requirements for the system safety and reliability. oPerform related duties as assigned, within the scope of practice.PERMANENT ACTIVITIESLead the safety and reliability attributes in project:oAnalyse potential risks and failures, and developing mitigation strategiesoPerform failures’ predictive calculation (MTBF)oUnderstand the product’s degradation and failure mechanisms, their associated consequences and the hazards to which they contribute,oAssess new and derivative design solutions/architectures, product operation and maintenance practices to ****uate their impact on product safety and reliability,oSupport product development and new product introduction phases through Safety & Reliability Engineering analysis and documentation (e.g. FTA, FMEA, FMECA, FMEDA, safety class analysis, Dependent Failure Analysis etc.),oDevelop system safety plans and prepare all activities required to provide assurance in accordance with the company procedures and applicable safety and reliability standards.Support the Standards’ improvement and compliance activities:oRegularly reviewing and updating safety and reliability policies and procedures to ensure they are current and effectiveoProviding training and guidance to other team members on safety and reliability best practicesoMonitor and analyse performance and reliability data INDICATORS:oLevel of Project Quality Review validated on Time (%) (OTD),oSystem and SW KPIs,oNon Quality Costs (NQC)oInternal Scrap (PPM),oNumber and rate customers claims (PPM, Incident).RESPONSIBILITIES/AUTHORIZATIONSAuthority to stop the production or a project design to correct issues ****ed with the customer satisf****, or compliance breach to (regulatory, internal, customer) requirements,oAuthority to sign all documents/commitments ****ed with quality of the products and services until SOP.COMPETENCIES:oMinimum 3 years’ experience as a Safety & Reliability EngineeroKnowledge of Safety & Reliability methodologies (FTA, risk matrix, FME(C)A)oDeployment of the processes or tailoring an existing development processoKnowledge and experience of the applicable standards (e.g. IEC 61709, IEC 62380, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, EN 50129) oExperience in the Railway and/or Automotive Industry is a plus oProblem-solving tools for 8DoTeam Moderation skillsoTechnical Coaching skillsoExperience in international working environment and strong interest in working with other cultures
