Our plans to expand into the Greater Bay Area (GBA) will also cultivate talent to serve Hong Kong and the wider metropolitan GBA.For more information about the University, please visit We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Science & Technology:Research Assistant I (R6653) (S&T) (Ref: 24001SC)Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe appointee will mainly assist the research team in a research project: “Solid State Air-conditioners for Smart Building Applications” (R6653). He / She will be responsible mainly for the following:? Additive manufacturing of Peltier devices (both hardware and software simulation aspects) to support publication efforts? Taking active part in designing, conducting, and troubleshooting experiments related to the project's goals in the field of Peltier device manufacturing (both hardware and software aspects) and measurements? Analysing experimental data using appropriate statistical methods and software? Working collaboratively with the research team, attending project meetings and contributing to reports and academic papers and? Performing any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator, which may include project management tasks.Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:? A Master's degree with a research **** in Materials Physics or a related discipline? Experience in material characterization and electronic device fabrication is preferred? A spirit of teamwork and the ability to complete corresponding research tasks in a timely and effective manner? Independent research capability and proficiency in writing and communicating in English and?
