Roles & Responsibilities:??? ?Responsible for the implementation of development of financial systems, including accounting system, expense control system, and other functional platform/program used in financial area??? ?In charge of system maintenance for basic parameters, master data, and system configuration for daily operation??? ?Know very well of system rules and operational logic for financial systems as well as the integration relationship with other systems which have interface with financial system, and to initiate creative ideas for work efficiency improvement by using existing system functions ??? ?Supervise the daily operation status of systems and verify the accuracy to sort out problems and errors timely??? ?Collect comments and suggestions on system optimization, analyze the feasibility and the cost, then develop system enhancement proposal on the basis of a full understanding of business processes??? ?Coordinate with external consultants and internal technicians to follow up the progress of problem resolution and system optimization projects??? ?Work closely with financial colleagues to figure out problems and answer questions related to financial systems, in order to provide effective and professional service to the staff and student ??? ?Act as the representative of Finance Office to join in cross-department system development projects and contribute professional advices??? ?Provide relevant trainings to team members of Finance Office as well as the users in other offices and departments??? ?Support external and internal audit for both university based audit works and projected based audit works??? ?Participate in specific tasks of Finance Office to support the events of university??? ?Other duties as assigned by the Team Leader and the Head of Finance OfficeQualifications:??? ?Master/Bachelor’s degree with major in Accounting or Finance??? ?At least 5 years related working experience in finance??? ?Participated in financial system construction or renovation projects and played an important role??? ?Experience of working in an international organization and higher education sector preferredRequired Competencies and Skills:??? ?Fluent in both English and Chinese languages with proficient written and verbal communication ??? ?Good interpersonal skills to communicate with a wide range of university units and colleagues??? ?Financial professional skills, familiar with accounts bookkeeping??? ?Proficient Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and flowchart design ??? ?Ability to work well both as part of a team and independently??? ?Demonstrated ability to learn new information management systems
