The Operations Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the local manufacturing strategy in accordance with the Greater China & Global Operations Strategy as well as for the day to day management of the manufacturing operation making appropriate decisions on production, planning, material, quality, engineering, safety, warehouse, logistic, foreign trade and organization development in order to ensure departmental and company targets are met. He/she is a member of the local management team.

Strategic Management
-Contribute to the development of the Global Operations Strategy
-Develop and introduce the local manufacturing strategy in accordance with the Greater China / Global Operations Strategy
-Lead local operations projects
Operational Management
-Ensure that all products are manufactured according to customer specifications and Dr?ger standard through the efficient use of labor and resources
-Monitor and manage effectively the operations budgets
-Take responsibility for implementing productivity improvement activities, e.g. Lean Manufacturing, programs, cellular manufacturing, Total Production Maintenance, Statistical Process Control, Kaizen, Target costing, Kanban and process analysis
-Work closely and cooperate with related interfaces like Quality, Research & Development, and Sales & Service
-Take responsibility for and maintain all Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) activities
-Ensure staffing levels meet production requirements each working day
-Ensure manufacturing maintains its quality assurance accreditation through compliance of all quality procedures and company procedures/ standards
-Ensure that efficient processes and methods are used in warehouse, logistic and foreign trade, and guidance from Global Order Fulfillment
-Ensure product delivery performance on time as required
Quality Management
-Develop Quality System for local Operations
-Develop local operations process landscape in alignment with global processes
-Support global and local audits
Leadership
-Lead and manage subordinated employees including headcount planning, recruiting, review and assessment of employees’ performance, professional development, compensation review, health & safety, motivation and enabling employees to optimize their contribution to the department, align with next higher level manager if necessary.
-Lead subordinated employees for environmental, health and safety topics. Ensure that all environmental, health and safety laws, regulations and practices are met and adhered to the protection of the environmental as well as the health and safety of employees. Ensure that full co-operation is given to the responsible persons in relation to environmental conscious behavior and processes, health working, safety training, risk assessment and accident reporting incidences.

-Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations as well as ensure compliance of Operations team.
-Other duties as assigned by supervisor / manager
任職要求
Bachelor degree in Mechanical/ Production Engineering and/or Operation Management or a comparable combination of education and experience
5-8 Years’ experience in manufacturing or production management position with 2-3 years’ experience in people management
2-3 years’ experience in managing cross-functional teams
2-3 years’ experience in lean manufacturing production techniques, process improvements and pro-active quality management.
Professional:
-MS Office - expert level
-English and Mandarin in written and spoken - expert level
-Project Management experience in international environment – expert level
-Lean Manufacturing with experience in working to ISO9001 standard – expert level
Behavioral:
-Management competencies according to the Dr?ger leadership competency model – advanced level
-Drive results – expert level
-Solve problems and make sound decisions – advanced level
-Plan and organize work – advanced level
