Communication & Digital Marketing Manager, Industrial Microbiology, Asia Pacific Region
Position Summary:
The Communication & Digital Marketing Manager will own and lead communication and digital marketing strategies and implementation, leveraging best practices and innovative programs to drive leads, acquire new customers, increase product adoption and expand awareness of bioMérieux Industrial Microbiology solutions in the Asia Pacific region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Marketing Communications and Digital Marketing with a life sciences or diagnostic technologies company. They will be expected to work independently with only a moderate level supervision, but pro-actively collaborate with colleagues, customers, key opinion leaders, service providers, and other relevant industry stakeholders. They must be well organized and flexible, enjoy the challenges of working in a matrix organization, and with diverse people (cross-culturally) and projects. The ability to interact with colleagues at various levels of the organization in a fast-paced environment, while remaining dynamic, proactive and resourceful, with high levels of professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail, are all crucial to this role.
Job Deion / Role:
?Build, launch and report on Marketing Communications and Digital Marketing campaigns aligned with regional and local Industrial Microbiology business strategy and tactics.
?Develop the regional digital marketing strategy and execute end-to-end within paid, owned and earned marketing channels.
?Deploy Marketing Automation tools (e.g. Email Marketing and Landing Pages), ensuring highest standards of quality and compliance.
?Drive successful regional digital marketing efforts through SEO, SEM, social media channels, web analytics, social media monitoring, and integrated offline activities.
?Collaborate closely with global, regional and local marketing, and cross-functional, teams to design and implement a digital strategy that reaches diverse stakeholders in multiple market segments, positively impacts business performance, and enhances online presence and reputation.
?Work closely with the global digital marketing team to maintain the multilingual customer website, define editorial lines, and coordinate translation of assets available in the global digital assets library.
?Measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs), competitors’ digital marketing, and life sciences industry standards.
?Establish and manage an editorial calendar including programming and channel specific promotional activities, in alignment with regional and local priorities and events.
?Create engaging digital content in collaboration with global and local Communications and Marketing teams, and ensure content published is compliant with corporate branding and business unit graphic design and messaging guidelines.
?Activate content in multiple campaign channels, ensuring proper tracking, nurturing, and reporting for effectiveness and quality.
?Write and edit online content, respecting SEO rules and best practice. Maximize utility of available budgets, operate within relevant budgets, and ensure expenses are accounted for in line with company policies and procedures.
Job Requirements / Person:
?Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or similar relevant formal business education/training.
?10 years’ experience in Marketing Communications, including 5+ years’ recent relevant job experiences in Digital Marketing, with strategy development and execution of EDM, Marketing Automation, content marketing, social media communications and management, SEO and SEM. Specific experience with PARDOT, edIn, WeChat and other social media platforms is essential.
?Relevant commercial and/or B2B marketing experience, ideally in life sciences or healthcare industry.
?Strong interpersonal skills, organisational skills, teamwork and collaboration skills.
?Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in Mandarin to communicate with key stakeholders, is essential. Some proficiency in other languages (Japanese, Korean, Thai, and/or French) would be highly regarded.
?Ability to multitask and work within deadlines, professionally managing competing priorities.
?Strong MS Office skills including PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Word, and experience with web-based platforms for relationship management (Salesforce.com, edIn, Researchgate, etc.).
?Ability to travel extensively, domestically and internationally (approx. 25-33% of work time).
?Willingness and ability to comply with bioMérieux Corporate Business Ethics & Compliance policies.
?Experience working in a matrix organization in multinational companies would be advantageous.
