Overview:
MCON is looking for a Project Manager (Intermediate level) to join our fast track dynamic team in Shanghai, China in the context of the cardess solution framework.
Your tasks and responsibilities will be in the areas of Automotive, FMCG/ Retail and Finance, wholesale and retail level, B2B digital solutions, mobile-apps, eCommerce, CRM and BI.
In this versatile role you assume the overall responsibility for the execution of projects and the support of our customers mainly in the automotive industry. Your commitment and hands-on mentality will help you to build and deepen good customer relationships. You will help OEMs with their digitalization strategy by planning and implementing projects in an agile manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
1. Build and maintain relationships with clients, manage client’s expectations and customer satisfaction.
2. Be responsible for tracking and management of project requirements, risks, resources, costs, quality, schedule and scopes, as well as provide appropriate solutions to customer.
3. Coordination between business and technical teams.
4. Be responsible for successful, on-time delivery of projects.
5. Develop project related documentation, including project open issues, project status, reports, etc.
6. Be proactive in identification and resolution of issues that may potentially have negative impacts to a project’s deliverables.
7. Working in close collaboration with the creative department, frontend, backend, data team and the business stakeholders.
8. Apply methodologies, report on efficiency and act as Project Management ambassador
Business Consulting
1. Collect information about the client’s business through a variety of methods (shadowing, interviews, surveys, reading reports etc.)
2. Conduct research and provide fit-gap analysis based on industry trends, competitor benchmark/scan and client’s current business situation.
3. Formulate recommendations and solutions with attention to a client’s wishes, capabilities and limitations forming concise reports.
4. Analyze, comprehend and summarize business processes and requirements.
5. Prepare process/technical concepts for process automation and system integration that solve customer requirements.
6. Explain process/technical concepts in a structured, receiver-oriented way
7. Present ongoing findings and suggestions to clients with ample justification and practical advice.
8. Develop detailed and “hands-on” business plans to drive small or radical changes continuously.
9. Assist the client in implementing the plan and resolve any occasional discrepancies.
10. Provide guidance for any occurring problems and issues.
11. Participation in presales: assessment of briefings, preparation of effort estimates, drafting of proposals, participation in presales meetings with potential customers
Professional Requirement:
1. Good knowledge and proper understanding of the automotive business from an OEM side.
2. At least 3 years in IT Project Management experience.
3. Solid Knowledge in Agile development methodology, e.g. SCRUM
4. Strategic planning experience, include but not limited to: CRM, digitalization, innovation, information management, interactive marketing, social media and big data.
5. Flexible and adaptable; able to work in stressful situations.
6. Excellent reporting ability
7. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
8. Proficient in Chinese and English, speaking and writing. German would be a plus.
9. Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
