Mechanical Process Engineer
Job Summary
The primary function of this position is to provide technical expertise, support and management of suppliers in China. Candidate must be able to report the current situation at suppliers to the team. Able to work independently.
Key Qualifications
?Requires 5+years experience supporting new product development.
?MSME/BSME, or equivalent.
?Experience with mechanical fabricated parts, jigs, fixtures, tooling, injection molding, plastics, carbon fiber, die casting, MIM, and machining experience is preferred.
?Engineering management or program management background is considered a +.
?Frequent travel to suppliers is required.
?Experience working with design engineers on DFM (Design for Manufacturability)
?Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin. Written English skills. Visit suppliers and provide reports.
?Help access supplier capabilities and risks.
?Review tooling designs, provide expert engineering and design guidance.
