Job Summary:
The APAC Assistant Regional Process Owner for Record-To-Report (RTR) is the regional RTR subject matter expert responsible for timely and effective migrations of RTR processes from SBD locations to Global Shared Services under the Functional Transformation (FT) program.
Organizational Relationship:
This position reports directly to the Global Process Owner for Record-To-Report (RTR) and Procure-To-Pay (PTP). This position will work closely with the BU’s, process owners within and outside of their region, regional shared services leadership and regional integration teams including the regional integration leads, migration managers and operational shared service associates performing integration related activities. There are no direct reports to this position.
Specific Responsibilities:
?Develop, update and maintain near-term FT operating plans and longer-term strategic plans for the APAC region
?Collaborate with RPO’s across all regions and Global Process Owner (GPO) to build-out the Service Delivery Model (SDM) including expanding on existing sub-process, activities and tasks
?Collaborate with RPO’s across all regions and GPO to update/improve upon standard integration templates (e.g. Integration Questionnaire and Detailed Process Scoping)
?Actively contribute to/participate in overall FT leadership team reviews and meetings
?Support FT Strategy, Governance and Reporting teams with standard recurring updates/reviews and ad-hoc requests
?Work closely with Regional Integration Teams to align on initial scope and timing of site specific migration plans
?Work with BU and shared services leadership to agree on migration schedule, scope and activities expected to be transitioned
?Perform site-specific pre planning/due diligence, in accordance with standard integration methodology and through utilization of standard integration templates
?Perform and complete on-site (as needed) detailed process scoping and knowledge transfer readiness activities in accordance with standard integration methodology and through utilization of standard integration templates
?Collaborate with Regional Migration Manager and GSS knowledge transfer resources to monitor progress of migration activities, including work-shadowing and job aid development. Identify, mitigate, resolve and escalate risks/issues encountered ensuring the timeliness of resolution
?Approve regional and location specific exceptions to SDM standard processes
?Identify, develop & implement process improvement | standardization plans for the regions migrations
?Assist in development of high-level, site specific process maps and perform quality control reviews of detailed knowledge transfer documents as required
?Actively participate in FT integration kick-off, status and toll gate meetings/reviews. Collaborate with Regional Integration Team in development of meeting/review material
?Provide assurance on integration project toll gate milestones and knowledge transfer, go-live and cut-over checklists
?Develop and assist in implementing plans to extend regional service offerings beyond transactional RTR areas into more value-added service offerings, including the design functional organizations within shared services to support these services. Liaise with regional shared services leadership to build-out the RTR organizations to increase the depth and reach of activities performed in shared services
?Provide oversight and input on ERP standardizations and initiative-specific technology enhancements to maximize productivity and further global standardization
?Monitor and assist in designing regional RTR Operating Level Agreements (OLA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
?Perform other duties as requested by the RTR & PTP Global Process Owner to achieve Functional Transformation goals.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
?Extensive experience working with/leading high performing project teams
?Extensive experience in project plan creation, implementation and execution
?Proficient in process design, improvement and overall process management/governance principles
?Extensive knowledge of Record-To-Report accounting principles and business processes
?Proven high performer (e.g. strong time management skills, ability to multitask, highly organized)
?Excellent problem identification, prioritization and remediation skills ; ability to propose solutions Strong collaborator across various functional organizations to achieve common goal
?Strong written and verbal communication skills
?Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint ; experience working with MS Project
?Working knowledge of internal control framework, activities and best practices
?Flexible to rapidly changing priorities
Education/Experience:
?4 year college degree in Accounting, Finance or IT is required
?Master’s degree in business or PMP certification preferred
?Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance and/or IT
?Shared Service experience in similar role is preferred
