?Bring strong knowledge of regulatory expectations and requirements
?Assist in assessing current compliance programme elements to identify efficiencies and innovation opportunities
?Conduct Compliance Monitoring & Testing on internal controls to mitigate regulatory risks
?Identification of data to prepare analyses, reports and updates
?Create, implement and administer reporting related to the Compliance programme
?Support the Global Compliance team by performing various tasks including: distribution of compliance information, maintaining compliance documentation and reviewing/extracting data collected in compliance-related databases (including fraud, data breaches, issue tracking and complaints registers
?Timely and accurate completion of regulatory reporting requirements, as required
?Conduct data analyses and initiate programme assessments to assess the efficacy of current activities
?Work with cross-region Compliance leaders to provide assistance in fraud and compliance risk assessment processes by documenting risks, assessing the degree of inherent risk, and mitigating controls and prioritizing specific risk areas for follow-up and remediation
?Provide information, as needed, for audits
?Collaborate with other corporate governance functions to support effective workflow of collection of data needed for Compliance reporting
?Work with Compliance leadership team to support the tracking of complaints and issues via the use of the GRC/Archer software system.
?Responsible for working with appropriate groups supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of systems and company programmes to address and mitigate defined compliance risk areas
?Support the continuous evaluation of the effectiveness of Compliance programme by measuring and monitoring compliance activity and trends, participating in or arranging for periodic compliance audits and collecting employee feedback on the compliance programme through surveys or other means
?Responsible for the development of Compliance reporting and submissions to regional MI reporting.
? Development of a Compliance Reporting Policy and associated templates that meets or exceeds regulatory and business requirements. The policy will detail all mandatory regulatory reporting, reporting at a business line level and Executive reporting.
?Develop, implement and perform on-going reviews of the Executive reporting pack and the detailed reporting that feeds into this
?Ensuring that all newly acquired businesses in China are brought onto the Compliance reporting structure as seamlessly as possible.
?Responding to requests from regulatory bodies accurately and promptly, and where necessary submit reporting to external bodies.
?Ensuring reporting is aligned with industry standards and adapting where necessary.
Qualification:
?+ 5 years of previous experience in a compliance role and excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting our businesses in China
?Experience working in a regulatory framework
?Previous experience in a compliance advisory and Monitoring & Testing or Mergers & Acquisitions Due Diligence role is preferred
? A Legal background and/or experience of developing processes and writing reports to a high standard is preferred.
