Philips Indirect Materials & Services (IMS)procurement team is responsible for sourcing, supplier management andcontracting across all non-product related goods & services for Philipsincluding, IT (Services, Hard- and Software), Facilities Management, Travel,Logistics (warehousing, transport and express), Temporary labor, ProfessionalServices (including legal and recruitment consultancy), marketing services,factory facilities and equipment. Our IMS Procurement team consists ofprocurement professionals that are capable of building bridges with internalstakeholders (market management) and external suppliers. Market ProcurementSpecialist report to Market Procurement Leader of Greater China.
This position is to lead and improve the IMS Procurementactivities for Philips China, specialist for Facility Management / Real Estate. To focus on achievingfinancial and non-financial goals that are aligned within Philips Procurementorganization and stakeholders. He / she acts as a strong leader to assure therealization of strategic, tactical and operational goals.
Job Description:
? Achieve maximum performance (leverage) by actively using the sourcing network, respectively by bringing local requirements into the commodity team in order to initiate improvements to the procurement and commodity strategy.
? Responsible for all indirect procurement activities for facility management / real estate in Greater China.
? Provide regular reports to demand side that brings visibility on value add and compliance.
? Leads the negotiation process with suppliers
? Monitors main outsourced products and services in order to improve efficiency, revenue and reduce total costs.
? Identifies, qualifies, ranks and select appropriate suppliers. Continuously optimize the supplier base (quality and number) on responsible sites towards lower costs and stronger relationships and works towards total cost of ownership.
? Develop supplier partnership at local and sometimes regional level.
? Manager the 3rd party scoping, vendor evaluation, selection and request for quotation process to support the project team in the tender phase / quote phase, considering, costs, quality, installation, training, warranty lifetime service costs, speed, etc.
? Monitor and analyzes supplier performance, following / using supplier performance feedback programs
? First point of contact in case of risk related to the assigned supply base / assigned customer base
? Ensure cost control, flexibility, quality, delivery and long-term assurance of procurement objectives within the supply base are establish and achieved
? Secure compliancy of the supply base to Philips policies and carries out relevant risk management assessments.
? Ensure that all Procurement related risks are controlled and mitigated.
Job Requirements:
? Bachelor degree with around 8 years of relevant work experience from indirect procurement. Experience in managing indirect procurement for real estate / facility managemnet is a MUST e.g. construction project, renovation, canteen and etc.
? Work experience in a professional, complex and international MNC environment.
? Able to lead procurement project activities and reporting in results within the team.
? Analytical, structured, accurate and able to maintain overview, assess priorities and focus on concrete results. Multidisciplinary approach.
? Team player with proven ability to successfully manage complex multi-disciplinary projects.
? Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrix environment.
? Good communication and interpersonal skills.
? Experience in contract negotiations
? Ability to translate supply solutions / strategies in practical implementation
? Ability to innovate and find opportunities for procurement to add value to the internal customer business
