- Responsible for new product design which includes but not limited to new platform project, advanced project with new technology, as well as cost reduction, transition projects and expansion of current products;- Responsible for overall controller software architecture;- Development of most advanced algorithms for DST products;- Support DFMEA with respect to electronics hardware;- Design of software code which meets design, electrical, thermal and agency requirements (if apply);- Develop and complete test plans to verify design meets requirements;- Work with purchasing/supply chain to select outside manufacturing house;- Documentation of software requirements and design (software spec, flowchart in details and user spec etc);- Must be able to handle communication with sales, marketing and customers as needed to support ongoing development and sales;- Direct/conduct/review performance tests of new, existing, and competitors controllers;- Employee also performs other duties as assigned by their Superior.
