The ECM Consultant will have 2 roles: ECM consulting and ECM presales roles.
Responsibility of consulting roles
-In charge of advising and guiding our customers in different ECM areas like document management, business process management, web content management, enterprise search, etc. and delivery of ECM business and technical solutions. Responsibilities include:
-Work with customers to discuss long term vision in the business and define a strategic ECM Roadmap
-Gather, analyze and document business requirements and business drivers
-Interviewing and working with customers at senior level
-Define ECM solutions, business processes & information architectures, that will help to client to resolve business issues in the area of compliancy, efficiency, cost, growth etc
-Define implementation & roll out strategies
-Set up change management and training plan
-Research to stay on top of market trends and changes in business issues/
-requirements/ regulations/ technology, understand customer’s industry, competitor‘s solution and vendor’s/ partners’ offering, and understand AO differentiators
Responsibilities of Pre-sales roles
-Provide pre-sales support to sales manager or business development manager on bid work and new opportunities in a consulting capacity. Responsibilities include:
-Prepare meetings and tailor communications to address business needs of potential clients;
-Deliver presentation of ECM solution, capabilities, and articulate benefits & value of ECM to customer confidently;
-Involve in marketing events, trade shows or conferences as well as in bidding, writing of proposals in response to RFP/RFI
-Identify customer diverse requirements, client’s business issues and ensuring proactive communications with customers to ensure customer engagement and satisfaction.
-Work with partners and technical team in building solutions and proposal
-May provide on-site consultation, support for proof of concepts;
-Identifying opportunities for further sales and new areas for development
Job Requirements
-Required Skills/Background:
-Creative and able to come up with pragmatic ECM solutions for specific customer needs
-Strong oral and written communication skills, presentation skills in Chinese and English
-Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills
-Good understanding of ECM concepts, ECM Best practices and methodologies
-Ability to understand business processes and capture business problems
-Ability to understand data relationships and how data can be used to solve business problems
-Ability to multi-task and be able to represent multiple subjects and products
-Strong analytical skills
-Good knowledge of strategic, conceptual, consultative selling
-Good knowledge of functionalities of different ECM products and different IT technologies; CRM, EDRMS, CMS, Workflow, Case Management.
-Good practical experience of implementation IT projects, best practices, including requirements definition, solution design & definition, systems analysis, development, implementation & rollout, change management and support
-Experience with integrated development environments, portal technologies will be a plus
